I don't know about the I-70 traffic, but I think the Front Range is lucky to have a city like Denver. I grew up in the mountains, and definitely can't wait to live in the mountains again, but Denver is a beautiful and great city. All the improvements are helping out our community. And YES, there is a great active community within the city. I take people around Denver a ton and the one thing almost everyone has to say is how clean and beautiful Denver is. What a great place to live!! We sure are lucky!! Denver offers so many great opportunities to enjoy a little bit of art, theater, concerts, people watching. I certainly don't want it to become like NYC or LA (yikes!!) but as far as I can see, the push for a bit of development and cleanup within the city to make it more desirable to live/work/play in can only be a great thing. It's the sprawling suburbs that I worry about.

On another note, if you live in the city you rarely have to deal with bad drivers because you ride your bike everywhere. Very Happy
