If you drove a taxi in this city you'd know that young white males from wealthy suburbs (you'd never go to West Van or UBC from d/t without getting the $ up front) are the most prolific cab 'n dashers.
Is there any chance that you act differently to wealthy young white males in a way that would increase the chance of a cab 'n dash? I'd imagine a few leaping into traffic to get away from the conversation.
You mean telling them that they're arrogant, xenophobic, misogynistic clowns? I didn't do that until they'd paid.
You're joking, right? The devil spawn of wealthy white people don't talk to cab drivers.
Fact is most peeps are head down in the thrall of their "devices" during a cab ride.
I did have an interesting conversation with the Finnish national broadcasting TV crew when I drove them to the airfield after the Olympics.
Seems their "right wing" gub'ment's slashing their funding a-la CBC.
There, as in Canada the wealthy dream of a private monopoly on broadcasting so to better massage the news to their benefit.
Well that is good to hear, it will offset the liberal media here in the states.

.It is also my observation that the drivers of late model luxury vehicles are far and away the most likely to not yield the right-of-way, as they are required by law, to transit vehicles leaving the curb..
And there ya' go, right there on the CBC 6:00 news they did a spot on this story complete w/vid of an intersection in Santa Monica I think it was where they stated observation proved that peeps driving luxury vehicles broke the law more often.

well, yeah, duh, why else would you buy a Hummer other than for the included license to drive like an a-hole?
PS Newt would say the reason is the driver of cheaper vehicles have outstanding warrants for various felonies and therefore have a greater reason to avoid routine traffic stops
PPS unfortunately, that rationale does not seem to be apparent to felons. It is amusing how many drug runners get caught for speeding well above the limit. _________________ Other vegetables have a hard time competing with potatoes.
