I agree too - Newt taking on Mittens for being a capitalist is just fodder for the Democrats.

It really is unbelievable.

Voters are already tired of this ugly process. It seems unlikely that they will opt to prolong it by unhorsing Romney now.

If I was a Republican, I'd be super bummed. None of these clowns has a fvckin' chance against President Hope 'n Change. Maybe in 2016....

if republicans don't believe in market forces, who will?

so what does newt think, more regulation on entities that look to buy companies to make $$$$$

hmm what metric will GOVERNMENT use to determine if the reason an entity wants to buy a company is fair?

hmmmm, interesting path to go down

Yupper, the divide between the OWS and the Republicans has disappeared.

Perry:

Quote:
....Perry started slashing away at Romney’s record as chief executive at Bain Capital on Monday, but was more caustic Tuesday in condemning the firm’s practice of making money in corporate takeover deals that sometimes triggered job losses.

"They’re vultures that are sitting out there on the tree limb, waiting for the company to get sick, and then they sweep in, they eat the carcass, they leave with that, and they leave the skeleton,” Perry told about 100 seniors here at the Sun City retirement complex.

......Perry went on to castigate the Obama administration for allegedly failing to stop “self-dealing” on Wall Street.

“You’ve got to ask yourself, when the last three chiefs of staff for this president came out of Wall Street, you don’t think there’s a little bit of inside dealing going on there?” Perry asked reporters.

“That their buddies aren’t calling 'em up and saying, `Hey, how 'bout let’s not be quite that tough on those of us on Wall Street. We’re just good ol' boys out here trying to make a buck.’ This is a corrupt place. Wall Street and Washington are corrupt.”

Wall Street and Washington are corrupt, You have Got TO LOVE IT!

Couldn't find a video clip to go with this, but for some reason this seems to me to apply to a shared sense of awakening which may be dawning on culturally divergent portions of the population:

Quote:
So Pat says, he says, "They got this new bar... and you go inside and for half a buck you get a beer, a free lunch and they take you in the back room - they get you laid... Mike says, "Now wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute. Do you mean to say there's a new bar and you go inside and for a half a buck they give you a beer, a free lunch and they take you in the back room and they get you laid?" Pat says, "That's right." "Have you ever been in the bar?" And he says, "No, but me sister has."

Stretching the op topic a bit to keep from starting another thread.

With this group behind him, it looks like Newt is going all in for gay and maybe Mormon bashing. He picked up at least one of Perry's buddies here.

Newt's pushing hard. Hard to say how the OWS folks he's courting will get along with the far right Christian crusaders though. With Cain and Bachman I thought the republican race was losing a good deal of it's entertainment value but Newt is doing his best to make up for that. Laughing
