just gave trix a basketball as she keeps destroying soccer balls. my neighbor just plowed the ditches so she can't bring it in for a goal yet, too deep. she'll get it. i especially like how she can run and bounce it into the air with her nose at the same time. j

That is a happy dog.
Here's another, happy with her reward for staying home alone for 5 hours:

| Probably took her at least 35, 40 minutes to polish that off. |

You know her well, apparently.
I should have filmed it. I have a series of films about my daughter eating and this would have been a good complement. I took it away from her after 30 minutes. Mostly she licked it and nibbled at the skin-like bits. Then she went nuts and even bloodied her gums. Had I let her have it any longer, she'd be crapping all over the house.... |

Just a joke about heavy-chewing labs.
Beef knuckles are the only actually edible things that last my labs more than minutes. I can leave them each a knuckle on a long day away and expect to find them only half gone when I get back. Rawhide bones last maybe an hour. |

Don't worry, I knew you were kidding.
Labs amaze me. I've never really owned one before but am truly amazed at Daisy's capacity for chewing. Never anything like the couch or the wall, like some labs. Just garbage she finds or a really bad sock. The stuff I find in her poop is absolutely stunning. She is lucky to be alive.
And bones, of course. She loves bones.
Poor Bally. Get the girl (boy?) a bone! That picture is priceless. |

Seriously, don't watch it. It appears to show a cop killing a dog. I didn't watch to the end, but it appeared to be heading that way and the comments seem to indicate it (I broke the link in this post).
It doesn't seem appropriate for this thread. _________________ Dog is my co-pilot. |
