Boy I bet you do miss him. Its never easy to lose a family member. I am sorry to hear of your loss cowdog. and putting a dog down has to be one of the hardest decisions. _________________ It's all about fun.... |

This is my "dog":
http://www.featheredfamily.com/duskyconure.htm
Or a dusky conure that looks a lot like her. One of these days I'll capture her on digital camera. Her name is T-bird.
I'll never be able to take her skiing, but she's been my cuddly little friend for over 15 years now. (And shows no sign of slowing down.) Are there any other "bird people" out there? |

My main ski partner for the last 13 years has been Olaf. Here are some pics of him.

Dusty's back, and didn't even have to change his screen name.

TELEE - shame on you. No dogs allowed at the huts. Cute pic though. _________________ It's not that life is too short - it's just that you're dead for so darn long. |

I’m glad you brought that up bobster. I'm not condoning dogs at huts. That was taken of my ski partner one afternoon last December on a scouting trip to the McNamara Hut for a trip I had lined up in April. Always like to see what the group is getting into before the trip. It was the day after Xmas, and no one had been there in the past week. A group was coming in the following night (according to huts.org), and I made sure to keep Catfish from peeing near the hut. In fact he had little reserves left after the 5+ mile hike in! Thanks for pointing that out.
Onto the pics…
Zeus, Cheri, and Catfish last weekend on Lookout Mtn. Zeus will be pulling me this winter. |
