I've seen some really creative stop animation movies from some of these little kids!

Can't help but cross post this up here too.

Grand kid stoke. 3 y o Emma prepared to drop in her first black diamond run. Instructor said she was ready. Taking one of her stuffed friends along for the ride. Yeah, she wanted to wear her tutu for the big event.

Ski Biscuit

The only thing not awesome about this video is the fake maple syrup at the end.

Oldest kid skied his first chest-deep powder yesterday. He liked it.

Oh yeah, and my boy, turning 2 this week, took his first real "strides" on his SnowPups this weekend. It was a proud moment. As he began to slide down a small hill, he made it clear he'd had enough so we put them away while the smile was still wide.

The big H asked for her skis the other day for the first time. We've asked her before if she wanted to try them on. She screams NO and marches off, pulls her mitts off and sits down and eats snow. At 18 months old why not?

I shot this video after about a half an hour of her skiing loops around the deck.

Just got back from a week of gaping it up with the family at Solitude - Utah. Had a blast trying to keep up with my 9 year old. God help me when he and his brothers are teenagers.

Brothers at top of Great Western - Brighton

Conner railing it down Solitude

Tyler learning the joys of defying gravity

Planning the rest of the day at Brighton

Conner heading down Honeycomb

Dad gratuitously posting a pic of himself because he can
