Really good observation. Thanks! They've only had about 6 days this season, so they'll come along and these tips are great. _________________ "It's a strange world made up of extreme horizontal and vertical planes. Where you find diagonal, you find skiing."

BTW, like their pole plants - nice natural timing. My guy thinks poles are for tucking under his arms or knocking stubby gates over with. _________________ How did a species as dumb as me ever get to be dominant on this planet? |

Saturday the weather warmed more than expected and the alpine experienced brief showers, and then fortunately did not re-freeze, making for soft, but heavy snow. Kids continue to learn the meaning of west coast powder:
Saturday afternoon, temp's kept dropping and a freeze did occur overnight. Fortunately it was not a deep freeze and it was topped with 8 to 15cm of fresh, depending on wind and aspect, leaving for pleasant surprises most of Sunday.
Ttiper Wishful and I spent the morning together. We started in the clouds:
And then things cleared unveiling a fresh canvas:
Interestingly, more southerly aspects were skiing best and had good wind transport making it deeper and mo' betta' - WH:
I like me SkiLogic Rock Stars:
We found untouched goods all over the place; Hourglass was the morning winner for Wishful and I:
Views were even better than the snow:
Time to go for flight lessons - me:

No such thing as a bad ski day. Ever. Gotta' go hit some laps with the fam! _________________ "It's a strange world made up of extreme horizontal and vertical planes. Where you find diagonal, you find skiing."

It was just one of those lazy afternoons of pure suckage with the family.
And in summary, this says it all:
Damn them. They'll be skiing again tomorrow with Mrs. WH, while I slave at the office. _________________ "It's a strange world made up of extreme horizontal and vertical planes. Where you find diagonal, you find skiing."
