I know it's fun to do, and lord knows he brought it upon himself, but wouldn't it be better if people stopped goading him now that he's banned? You know he's got to be lurking, and the more posts like this that there are, the more likely he tries to get back in and continue to cause trouble.

Just a suggestion. I recognize that Mitch couldn't even restrain himself from a remark or two, but it just seems like a mistake to me.

I don't think the intent is to goad so much as it is to apply a little humor and lightness on what a somewhat dark time for many of this forum's members. It's seems a natural part of the healing process, though your point has merit.

I appreciate the concern Danno, however I don't think it's a very good idea to let Ron continue to dictate forum content, even in his absence.

In any case, if he tries to sneak back in and start up with his disruptive schtick, we'll know soon enough.

Whew...without a thread title with DPP in it, over the past few weeks I kept assuming I had signed on to the wrong forum.

The very existence of this thread is him dictating forum content. Laughing

But it's your show. In the words of Emily Litella, "never mind."

Naw, it's our show.

Not mine, not Ron's either, as much as he tried to make it his. Very Happy

The real question is, if the skier in the photo had shown better form, would Talisker have given Park City the reprieve? How about if it had been an ATer making toilet turns?

I agree with Danno. It seems like people really do like arguing with Ron, so long as he can't reply. That's unfair. if you're going to ban the guy, then leave him alone and stop posting about him.

With Ron he tried to understand "Old time tele". That in and of itself causes trouble here so I'm lifting one to Ron! And the fact of this thread means summer is a bummer and Ron would spark it up wich is implicit in this thread. Teleman

This is laughable.

So, the terms "DPP" and "Poodle" are now forever off limits because people associate them with Ron? Double-pole planting and poodling didn't exist until Ron manifested their infamy? Did Ron once write something about Park City and me mentioning that is just rubbing it in or goading him? Please provide the full list of banned terminology so I won't make that mistake again. Rolling Eyes

The real irony here is that you guys are the ones to make this thread all about Ron; I just thought there was a funny picture on a local news piece some people here may find interesting or entertaining.

Guess I'd better tread more carefully around here with Ghost of Ron still dictating what is permissible.
