Some of you likely believe it - How? How do the elite get ahead by torpedoing the middle class? Short term, maybe - but these are long term planners. How does the elite get ahead long term by eliminating the middle class?

Idiots.

Like Nobel Prize winner, Joseph Stiglitz.

He spoke while attending Occupy Wall Street - One of the things the banks did was to prey on the poorest Americans. Predatory lending. We knew about it. There were some people who tried to stop it. But Wall Street used their political power to stop those who would stop them.

I think he nailed it with this one:

Quote:
Stiglitz said that whoever designed the Obama administration's bank rescue plan is "either in the pocket of the banks or they’re incompetent."

They're clueless, but now you are agreeing with them.

PBS Newshour last night had a piece on these demonstrations.

Of course, they had two sympathetic commentators who made them look like wholesome, rational, hardworking people.

Basically, they did the exact opposite to the Tea Party demonstrations which had 100X the number of people.

Obviously, it will become clear these are a bunch of lazy, young, metrosexual sissies who want the nanny state to insert her swollen nipple directly into their mouths so they can twitter their latest gluten free apple fritter recipe after sleeping into noon in their Ikea futon.

The only thing that you and Stiglitz have in common is that you don't like Obama, but I suspect for rather different reasons.

What are you doing listening to that communist PBS, Necky?

The tea baggers got their start because they objected to TARP and the bank bailout. This is the other end of the political spectrum that also doesn't like Wall Street and the bankers.

Like the tea baggers, they don't seem to have any coherent policy that they stand for. They just don't like Wall Street and the banks and corporate greed. But what should be done about it? Eliminate the banks and go back to barter as Justin has suggested?

A few satanic beatings and barbaric tortures of some CEOs and investment bankers should quell the angry mob for a while.
