Three inches at Snowshoe, WV last night. It has begun. _________________ There is a whole lot of reward on the other side of risk.

While I'm psyched about the snow I am slightly disappointed in the title of this seasons East Coast thread..... _________________ "Theres too much time in my clock to be able to set it right!" |

Not to mention it was started about WV.
I predict this thread does not become THE thread. |

Certainly wasn't meant to become "The Thread". Three inches of WV slush isn't all that exciting. However, for future reference, must "The Thread" begin with Vermont, or the Dacks? _________________ There is a whole lot of reward on the other side of risk. |

There you have it. A report of snow closer to home and "The Thread" is born. Let us hope for a more worthwhile snowfall to report. _________________ There is a whole lot of reward on the other side of risk. |

the real question is did/why didn't you ski those three inches of snow?
people being slightly off kilter enough to hike up whiteface (or mansfield or something...) to slide around on 3 inches is why the thread starts in the adks or vermont.... |

Speak for yourself I got pretty excited when I heard, something along the lines of, "Damn! those lucky bastards in WV are going to scrape out a few first turns before me. Git Sum!" |

I'm sure by the time I threw my gear into the car and drove the 484 miles to Snowshoe, that three inches was already gone. _________________ There is a whole lot of reward on the other side of risk. |

That was an interesting twist! So, I guess I was wrong, but on the plus side, I got to help name the thread... I never get first tracks so I guess this will have to do. |
