Three inches at Snowshoe, WV last night. It has begun.

While I'm psyched about the snow I am slightly disappointed in the title of this seasons East Coast thread.....

Not to mention it was started about WV.

I predict this thread does not become THE thread.

Certainly wasn't meant to become "The Thread". Three inches of WV slush isn't all that exciting. However, for future reference, must "The Thread" begin with Vermont, or the Dacks?

There you have it. A report of snow closer to home and "The Thread" is born. Let us hope for a more worthwhile snowfall to report.

the real question is did/why didn't you ski those three inches of snow?

people being slightly off kilter enough to hike up whiteface (or mansfield or something...) to slide around on 3 inches is why the thread starts in the adks or vermont.... Laughing

Speak for yourself Wink I got pretty excited when I heard, something along the lines of, "Damn! those lucky bastards in WV are going to scrape out a few first turns before me. Git Sum!" Cool Very Happy

I'm sure by the time I threw my gear into the car and drove the 484 miles to Snowshoe, that three inches was already gone.

That was an interesting twist! So, I guess I was wrong, but on the plus side, I got to help name the thread... I never get first tracks so I guess this will have to do.
