I think it would be more fun to rank them:

actually I have pretty limited experience in both Cali and Utah (less than 100 days in each) so I'd have to rank them tied for first.

Colorado would certainly be third of the three.

I guess it doesn't much matter if you wake up somewhere you like to good conditions, but that would certainly happen for me in Utah or Cali more often than here.

according to your report it was 6000 feet of not ice!

I think he was clear in saying 'year 'round' skiing and in that case it would be mostly glacier skiing, which indeed is ice. Not sure how Kirkwood fit in there but I'd like to welcome JAV88 nonetheless. Nice first post and solidly ski related, if a little verbose. Wink

Hope to hear more from this guy.
