4 is a number..spring ain't quite sprung @ lookout .still getting powder dumps ..wish u were there
Solstices happen arc'inpfunkin, powder, corn, or not. And very nice powder over here this past weekend as well! Keep on winn'in bro! Fake-a'mark'in 4 U!!!
Marky, EQUINOXES also happen..as in the Vernal EQUINOX..But maybe y'all are having a Spring Solstice there in Seattle? If so, that explains a lot..and u really need to tell someone, someone far more important than I!
Dude,
just contributing to a little
correction concerning your obviously
lacking grasp on the REAL variance
in climate in the PNW.. next time, u
might give it just a little thought
b4 you tell me all about the the
weather in the INLAND Pacific
Northwest...or not..probably
not.
no pfucwit... anyone knows that there's a whole swatch of semi-arid land between here and you. Of course the weather is different. Spelling everything out for your asbergers laddled mind is tedious. Glad you busted out the extreme skill set and skied the powder on the edge of the groomers.... dude, u've got maaaad skills! How you ever do it when your head's so far up your arse is indeed a mystery.
Ron, you had this argument a month ago.
Someone please move this thread to way off topic. _________________ Heyyou: Somewhere in the dim midwinter light of Eastern Washington, another erroneous sasquatch sighting occurs.

(Ha! I said "pp".)
TM, u invited me to your domain and I reciprocated..Your brother , TattleHungry, somehow saw that as an argument ? I have no time to explain the technical details of the deeper meaning of "argument" in metalogical terms.. You and
your bro enjoy your Spring Solstices ..cheers, beers..much love

Hey Geo, yesterday and today your mountain (as was Steptoe)
was clearly visible from Mnt Spokane, but my cheap
little cam was not quite able to show it ..Actually, I can
see Moscow Mnt on this, but it's not obvious.
Just look just to the right of the last mnt on the right
(Mica Peak) and u can see a dark blue ridge-- Moscow Mnt .
Snow coverage still great on the little mountain..The
South side is often showing some bare down lower by
mid-april, but not this year.. A corn day by 10:30 or so
today..Off to the right is the Northeast corner
of the Upper Columbia Basin ..When you watch
Aaron's videos of the Sugar Bowl @ Mission , you
can see the Northwest corner ;it's
150 miles across the basin, give or take..
The climb --the easy way-- is an hour 20min
for 2000 ft of vertical..

A couple of us skied silver on saturday and it was WET. I'm not sure it even froze overnight, and the 8" consolidated down into about 4 by the time they dropped the ropes.
I wasn't sure how crowded it would be, but the parking lot was full. It was empty by the time we came down at 3 though.
There was no skiing off piste, unless you wanted to go wading.
I'm not sure this weekend is going to be any better. Had planned on hanging up the boots for the season, but got a call on friday from the posse for one last hurrah.
It snowed here on the palouse last night- woke up to snow sticking on the ground, but nothing significant. _________________ Heyyou: Somewhere in the dim midwinter light of Eastern Washington, another erroneous sasquatch sighting occurs.

Sorry for the camera tilt.
Nice pic..Mnt Spokane is off out there.. a ways
In the photo is some of the oldest rock in the region, some of the youngest rock in the region (very debilitating to ski bases), as well as the (not pictured obviously) second largest underground gold strike in U.S. history.
Hungry in Cos sorry about your wet snow. Saturday was the best day of the weekend for us. _________________ Well, let's play chess.
