They're almost the same dimensions, at least as advertised. Anyone know if it will work?

I just scooped up a pair of the old 10.0's from Sierra Trading Post, but then realized it will be next to impossible to find the old 10.0 speedskins anywhere.

Dimensions are identical -- the difference on the stp site is b/c the MA specs are for the slightly narrower 169cm, whereas the FT 10.0 are for the longer (and slightly wider) lengths.

Hi Scott,

The Mustagh Ata skin will work fine. They have the same dimension, therefore the same pre-cut skin. We currently do not have inventory in those skins so I would check your local dealer come early September.

Thanks,

Sarah

Unsurprising they're sold out -- they've been sensibly cautious in their ski-specific skin inventory.
If you're interested in some BD mohair mix, I have a new pair that will fit, and for really cheap. (I've used the Dynafit speed skins on my Manaslu and BD STS on my M.A. -- both work fine with the Dynafit tips & tails.)

Oddly enough, a plane crash has derailed almost all operations where I work, so I should have ample time to locate the last remaining pair on the internet today.
