TOUGH GUY PRODUCTIONS is pleased to announce that ATOMIC has sponsored several competitions this season. The amount for insurance coverage for competitions is outragous so the competitions are limited in number. Here is a breakdown of the various events that TGP is promoting:
Nationals @ Copper Mountain Resort
Jan 20-23rd
Freestyle Comp
Day 1 TeleCross (heats of 4)
Day 2 Slopestyle with top 10 advancing to Night Big Air
Feb 4-5th
Taos Telemark Freeskiing Championships
Big Mountain
Day 1 Qualifiers
Day 2 Finals
Feb 24-27th
Alpine Meadows Telemark Freeskiing Championships
Big Mountain and Slopestyle
Day 1 Qualifier
Day 2 Finals
Day 3 Slopestyle
March 25-27th
9th Annual Telemark Freeskiing Championships
Big Mountain
Day 1 Qualifier
Day 2 Finals
The ATOMIC Telemark Freeskiing Championships is a series! You must do complete Taos or Alpine Meadows and Crested Butte. Crested Butte has a juniors category however, the other two do not. You must be at least 18 years old to compete in the series. For more information go to www.ToughGuyProductions.com.
Good Luck! See you at the comps. |

How time flies. Actually, the comps are this season! Good eye. Tried to fix the post as soon as I saw my error, but it had already been posted. So it goes. See you at the comps!

If you are a tele jibber or like to boost in the pipe and park, you have to go to this comp!!!!!!!!!!!
For those of you who arn't into the tele freeski extreme comps, keep in mind that New England Telemark is hosting a big east coast event Feb 26th-27th. It just so happens that Total Telemark scheduled the Alpine Meadows event on top of this one. Sure is too bad. This will be a Halfpipe and Slopestyle event in Main. They are offering good prize money and great terrain!
East Coast Telamark Halfpipe & Slopestyle Championship
Feb 26-27
Cost: FREE with festival lift ticket, just get there!
Sunday River, Main

| Nat, thanks for the reply, I'd love to be there but find myself going elsewhere, conflicting schedules, nothing to do with prizes, hope it goes off well. |

I saw on the Taos webpage that the comp there has been cancelled?
Want to confirm that, and prevent anyone from wasting a trip. |

With Taos cancelled, that means everyone has to
enter at Alpine Meadows AND crusty butt, right?
What is super lame is that tele nationals at Schweitzer
www.ustsa.org/racing overlaps with Alpine Meadows!
So now I'm wondering what to do cuz I had a blast
at Schweitzer last year but really wanna do the freestyle.....
Also, how can I get in touch with other folks heading
to the comps or locals - to rent a car, etc etc. _________________ the spirit of tele dwells deep in the belly |

just to clarify, this thread is from last year. and i think there are no more nationals this year, but tgp is going to have more small comps in different locations. i think there was some info on www.freeheellife.com about the events, maybe in the news section of the cable. _________________ skiskiskiskiskiskiskiskiskiskiskiskiskiskiskiskiskiskiskiskiskiskiskiskiskiskiskiskiskiskiskis |
