I took the dog up to Round Top this morning to get in some September patch turns. It was cold and snowing. Here's to more of that.

Nice. I hope to see much more white in that same view within a few weeks.

I like this forecast:
Saturday Night
Windy. Chance of snow and rain in the evening... then snow likely after midnight. Snow accumulation up to 2 inches... with up to 4 inches above 7000 feet. Lows 15 to 25. West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph becoming northwest 10 to 15 mph after midnight. Ridge gusts up to 85 mph decreasing to 55 mph after midnight.

It's snowing so hard we had a hard time finding my street while driving! It's strange to think that a week ago I was at the beach swimming. Very Happy

Got about 1" here in Mammoth. I took my old Vision Crowns on a nice tour around my condo grounds.

More drool-inducing snow photos, please.

This was taken on Sunday afternoon on the Thunder Mtn. Trail that goes from Carson Spur to the ridge atop Kirkwood. Seems like a bit more fell on Tahoe , but (barely) enough fell along 88 to glide around a bit.
