I try to get a midnight Solstice Shred in each year if my situation allows. Seeing how Michael Franti is playing up here tonight (Solstice), I had to get my shred on last night!

start hiking a little before 10pm.....

by 11pm, there is no shortage of light, or delicious corn!

often it is beautiful!

and there are juicy lines to drool over!

it's almost midnight!

looking down the farmer's field

ok it's about time to drop!

can't see the tracks, but it was quite delicious!

the end of the snow Sad looking back up the bottom half of the run!

I hope you all get to shred at midnight at least once ! Happy Solstice!!

ski safe!

Tell PRP you need a new camera, Weighed.

As much as you're out, and as much as you shoot, you need it.

bOnger, thanks for sharing that.

I may never get to AK and I'm well past the age where staying awake until midnight is within the realm of possiblity
so it's nice to experience it all through your pics.

Very Happy

Wow! Nice work! I'm going to add that to the list!

Just saw Franti at Red Rocks a couple of weeks ago. Terrific show - what a great way to celebrate solstice!
