I am looking for an intermediate alpine ski for my girlfriend (yes, she is an attached heal skier to my dismay Crying or Very sad ). I was wondering if anyone could provide any suggestions/recommendations? She is a like a 5-10 times a year skier, so she needs a ski that is easy to turn, light, and forgiving. May be someday she will see the righteous path and free the heel, but for now it is good enough just to get her on the slopes.

Hey Monkey...

I would recommend Atomic C-series....I skied the C:7.

I skied these a TON and jumped from the intermediate to the advanced level.....they carve so nice. They saw me through my learning to ski moguls phase (=falling on my ass phase), my powder is my friend phase, and my "uh, I really can ski this whole mountain" phase....

And they'll always eat up that corduroy!

A good intermediate ski I think, and I recently saw a pair at SportMart for $145 new....

Swithched to tele, but for some reason I still want to keep these around.

Good luck.

Sarah.
