It's out there, so it ought to be here in the OT Swamp, too, I think.

She's running her '12 campaign. Just think of what she will be able to accomplish just as soon as she can like totally ditch the old geezer dude and his whinny, loser attitude.

Yep, good thing.

Quote:
Campaigning in Virginia earlier Monday, McCain acknowledged his deficit in the polls, and said the national media has all but declared the race over.

"We have 22 days to go. We're 6 points down," he said. "The national media has written us off…. But they forgot to let you decide. My friends, we've got them just where we want them."

Right where they want us? Oh my. I swear, a couple more days like this and The Sarahinator won't even be taking his calls.

Kinda goes with 'Otis has got us where he wants us'.

Sarah Palin, Inc.

She's a political brand.

She's not about to leave the political scene.

She's a cash cow with instant recognizabliness.

She's an AMT of fund raising potential. HUGE potential.

She's not even about to care about how The Haters feel about her.....

......except for the part where she feeds off of the hate of The Haters.

She loves that.

She has been anointed.

She is Esther.

Ask her.

2012.

Game on.

============

Quote:
Dear friends:

Barack Hussein Obama has taken the nation by storm. From obscurity, with zero executive experience, or much of any kind, he has vaulted into the position of Presidential frontrunner. It is stunning. On the surface, it appears attributable only to his eloquent oratory and his race. But an invisible factor may be a strong spiritual force behind him, causing some people to actually swoon in his presence…

Last week at Obama’s acceptance speech, that spirit exalted itself in front of a Greek temple-like stage, and to a huge audience like in a Roman arena. Obama was portrayed as god-like. His voice thundered as a god’s voice.

At the end, Democratic sympathizer Pastor Joel Hunter gave the benediction and shockingly invited everyone to close the prayer to their own (false) gods. This was surely an abomination, but it was compatible with Obama’s expressed theology, and Hunter’s leftist leanings.

God was not pleased…

Enter Governor Sarah Palin. With incredible timing, the very next day, Sarah Palin also appeared out of nowhere…

We quickly learned that Sarah is a born-again, Spirit-filled Christian, attends church, and has been a ministry worker.

Sarah is that standard God has raised up to stop the flood. She has the anointing. You can tell by how the dogs are already viciously attacking her. But they will not be successful. She knows the One she serves and will not be intimidated.

Back in the 1980s, I sensed that Israel’s little-known Benjamin Netanyahu was chosen by God for an important end-time role. I still believe that. I now have that same sense about Sarah Palin…

Only God knows the future and how she may be used by Him, but may this noble woman serve to bring renewal in the land, and inspiration.

Quote:
....It was at this moment Sarah Palin, reached out for me to help her up and as I was assisting her to stand I was now face to face with her and GOD said, 'Open up your Mouth and I will fill it.' Here is what came out...

'God wants you to know that you are a present day Esther!' [She immediately began to cry]! 'God wants to tell you that you are Chosen for such a time as this!' 'You are called, and chosen to be a leader.' 'Don't lose heart and don't fear man.' 'The news and nay-sayers and criticizers are going to be very hateful toward you... and in the days ahead they are going to turn up the heat...but do not fear.' 'You are a present day Esther.' You are an Esther. You are an Esther! 'Keep your eyes on GOD and know that He has chosen you to Reign!' 'Stay strong...be strong...don't tire. Don't be weary in well-doing. Be strong.'

Her husband Todd came over and I told him what I told her. He began to cry. I emphasized the fact that he was to guard her at this time...and know that '...she is GOD-CALLED and GOD-ANOINTED.' ...this is a GOD-THING and your wife is a Present day Esther...she is for God to use at this time...She is an Esther...she is an Esther...she is an Esther.' You will be hated...but stand strong...GOD has called both of you to stand!' 'We are praying and I am praying for you...!'

At this moment, McCain came right to where I was finishing talking to Todd and I told Mr. McCain exactly what I told to Sarah and Todd Palin. 'Mr. McCain, ...they are called of God and she is an Esther.' 'Don't lose hope and don't lose heart.' We are praying for all of you!'

He shook my hand and with a deep look of understanding what I had just said, he said,'Thank you for your prayers and support...I really do mean that!'

Well hey, Edwards was really running for 2008 back in 2004, even after Kerry picked him for veep. Why else would he keep his own staff and "message"?

See where it got him? Other than some nookie with one of his campaign staff Rolling Eyes

Yes, good point.

My attention is drawn by the nature of the adoring throngs.

Not your Edward's, or anyone else's up until now, type of Kool-aid drinkin' Tru-be-leavers.

This time it's different.

Isn't it?

I would laugh my ass off if Republicans put Palin at the top of the ticket in 2012.

That would force me to vote for whatever whack job the Libertarians find simply as a protest vote.

If the Republicans do that the Party is dead. If they will not give the boot to the Religious Right they will be handing over the Party.

Perhaps we get a viable third Secular Conservative Party out of the deal.

Not gonna hold my breath

Put? Pay attention to how she is being packaged and presented. Battle lines are being drawn. She will be raising tens of millions for the party for the '10 races (campaining starts 11/05) and making Faustian bargains up the whazoo with the neocons for control in '12. Palin didn't just "happen" and the genie is not going back in the bottle.

The religionist right is in the house -big time - and starting to feel enough at home to begin rearranging the furniture.

McCain and the Raging Right

Are we witnessing the reemergence of the far right as a power in American politics? Has John McCain, inadvertently perhaps, become the midwife of a new movement built around fear, xenophobia, racism and anger?

Pandering to a bad idea just to obtain votes for what is otherwise a total load of BS.

Pay no attention to the canned message and props.

Sounds remarkably like a formerly popular financial scheme Confused
