This ski was a pleasant surprise. I bought them sight unseen with no demo off ebay due to a good deal. No regrets here, and actually very excited about this ski. I like a wood core ski that's not too heavy, but I also like a fair amount of torsional rigidity to my skis. These are by no means noodley, and quite responsive. I have skied them in a variety of conditions, including oregon wetpack slop, low density fluff, and mixed resort cut up crap. also skied them in uncut backcountry pow, while encountering some variable windpack styrofoam.
These skis handled everything well. the boot/binding combo works well for these skis. I was worried that the O1's might be too much for this ski, but no. The 3 buckle-pre T2X (blue) models drive these just fine. Whereas those boots were not quite enough to drive a pair of Killowatts with the O1's.
Uphill with the 01's and these skis is a dream. I can't wait to cover some ground with this set up in the spring, when some of our long approaches open up here in the cascades.
Very quick ski that can hang in mixed conditions. Tight trees no problem. I would suspect that extended steep firm conditions wouldn't go so great, but I rarely find myself on such slopes and I'm sure if I did, it would be fine. I don't really ski groomers so, no experience there. my guess is that you might want more of a ski for those conditions.

Previous ski that you liked: G3 Rev
Previous ski you did not like: Rossignol
How big are you: 6' 195lbs nekkid
Mostly tele or parallel: Was mostly tele, but going parallel more and more
Comments: Lively and light ski. The Laser is adequate for it in soft conditions...seems the ski seems a bit more demanding when things stiffen up. The tips stay up fairly well in dense snow without too much back-seat action, and there is great apex pop, which makes them super fun for tight, aggressive turns. Just the right size for hero hopping, and the light weight makes them easy to take on big vert days. Despite the tail upturn, these ski fairly true to length, although the shapeliness makes them more of a tight/medium radius turning ski. They take off if you try to let 'em run too much...

Comments: Quick turning and floaty. Think powder glades. They rubber banded on steep polished hard pack. (Whiteface's Upper Thruway) However, they are ridiculously fun to ski in (on) powder.
Update: I've also skied these with the Garmont Megaride which handled them well in tight glades.
