I am making the move back to tele and plan on getting the axl and vise bindings. When I started tele a hand full of years ago I found that the only leashes worth anything were the bd ones. I was just looking at the 22d tail leases and wondered if anyone has a picture of them on in use?

Thanks a ton for the help.

Well, I don't have a picture available but I have been using HH/Axls with the 22D leashes for several years now. I did manage to shear off the metal clip initially and a replacement was sent free of charge. Since then no issues, I've also used the BD leashes and don't find a whole lot of practical difference between the two.

The 22Designs tail leash worked well for me when I was on HammerHeads and I also used some thing similar on a pair of BD-01s.

One of the nice things about the tail leash is that it helps avoid problems with knocking the heel piece off the boot heel. If you are small footed -- HammerHead heel tubes can bang against each out and get knocked off.

I have a set of these and have used them a handful of times, but I prefer the standard leashes. If you want them, PM me and I'll send them for just shipping cost, they aren't doing any good here sitting on the shelf.
