Of course, you're right. Kamchatka and New Zealand are both ahead of Japan. Embarassed

O.K. it's settled then- geography be damned- we have a rolling toast at 7 pm Friday, January 28, 2005 in as many time zones as possible.

Take a picture of the occasion if possible and post it here.

Friday night? I thought it was tonight...skijoring in the full moon and drank a Guinness. I wondered where everybody was.

Here's my pic, just in case I miss the 2nd party.

Ha, Funhog, a likely excuse. I bet if you could, you'd start in Alaska and follow the sun around the world and down a pint in every time zone- all 25 of them; or is it 36? Would you believe 29 and a half?

During this Cyber-synchronized Tribute, I honored Mitch's contributions by following the democratically achieved instructions of my fellow TTippers; whereby I consumed several of THESE
While no photos document this occasion , results bare a significant resemblance to my Avatar!!!!!! Cool
EDited tO aDDD: Oh Shit the tribute is Friday! ohwell Razz

Mitch has done so much for all of us, I think we should consider having him bronzed!

If we bronze him it will have to be of him skiing in the classic telemark retro style as seen here.

as opposed to the modern freeheeler he has become and inspired us all to become. Laughing

If we wait till spring skiing he'll probably bronze himself as he gathers sun, definitely will happen in the summer Smile

I've learned an incredible amount about avalanche safety just from this board alone. I'll lift a glass to Mitch tonight in honour of his contributions. As for the rest of the TTips site - well, what can I say - other than I'm addicted.

Thanks to Mitch. I'll raise a glass of Big Rock at seven.

In honor of Mitch's contributions to avalanche safety awareness, some Guinness and Kilkenny was consumed by Ron E (left) and Kev D Friday evening.

Here's to Mitch - Cheers!

Mission Accomplished.

Scene of the Crime: Dusty's Creekside

Weapons of Choice: Alexander Keith's INDIA PALE ALE and Kootenay Mountain Ale

Thanks for the site, Mitch! It's a great opportunity to share ideas.

Ron:

That must be a before picture: Kevin's eyes look unusually clear and focussed for such a great occasion.

Edited to add (after a few tippers):

Sven:

If that's Dick's Double Diamond Winter Ale, brewed in Centralia, why is my valley in the background of that label? Has Intraworld been sold? Certainly we have more than enough good water to run a few breweries right now.

Ha, good one. Yes, that's his second pint in his hand.

Ullr has looked favorably upon these efforts and this honoring of Mitch. The rain in Whistler has finally been replaced with snow (a bit anyway).
