There was a Work Stinx w/g3's, a pair of voile poles, and a shovel lost in the couloir on saturday AM. Just wanted to let people know to contact me if they found it and not to worry. My partner was shaken up but OK.

Glad to know everyone's OK.

The Works w/ G3 is up at the summit rock pile acting as a lightning rod. A group of climbers left it there on Sat. I talked to a group who was contemplating bringing it down yesterday, but who may have not being that they were camped at Patricia. I know someone grabbed the shovel and possibly the poles. Sorry I don't know how to get in touch with them, but maybe they will see it here. I found a probe on the way up the talus/grass. Describe the make and I'll reunite it with the owner.

I heard he was pretty shaken up, and for good reason. I was wondering why he started ditching all his gear though. Pass my thoughts onto him.

All the gear was apparently returned to the Meadow Mtn ranger station, thanks to the good samaritans who did that.

He didn't ditch the gear, it was lost when he fell 200+ ft down the middle runnell after slipping while knocking snow out of balled-up crampons.

Bummer, glad things are turning out ok. Balled up crampons can catch us by surprise.
