No disagreements! I like my EnergG's. Adding a few comments: I'm on my 2-1/2 season in them. I think the bellows softened up a bit too much. Maybe newer models have corrected this issue, I dunno. At the shop, stiffness was comparable to Scarpa's in a similar class, so I went with fit. They say you either have a Garmont foot or a Scarpa foot, and I tend to agree. Although the upper portion is still quite stout, the softness in the bellows seem to be a bit of a miss-match. I think Skiing Magazine recently wrote up a review stating that although they're Garmont's top of the line, they aren't the stiffest compared to Crispi and Scarpa. I'd agree with the statement. I'd certainly tour in them, but leave them home when I have to do any significant hiking or overnight activity. They're just a bit too tall for comfortable manuevering when I'm not wearing my skis.
