I really hate to start another NTN thread.... Rolling Eyes

I spent four solid days in the park this past weekend hiking almost exclusively doing my CSIA Snow Park cert. I usually don't hike, I usually lap the park with the lift. But given how the course works with concentration on one feature at a time hiking was what we were doing.

I was skiing K2 Kung Fujas 179s mounted -1 cm from centre with Red Springs at 3 and Garmont Prophets. The setup works really well in the park. Landings are especially solid, both regular and switch.

The thing that blew me away was hiking up. I know this is obvious but you really don't appreciate it until you have to do it, for hours on end. I could get in and out of my skis just as fast as the Alpine folks, they didn't disappear down the hill on the backside of a Large/XL jump which is always a bonus Laughing, and the little hole in the lever makes carrying the ski by the binding really easy. They are every bit as easy to carry as the Marker Jester, one of the easiest to carry Alpine bindings. After hiking with 75 mm I could not go back.
