Curious on the new Unparralleled Productions film. Already on order but wondering if anyone had a review?

Sad sorry but i found it a complete disappointment and a waste of my money. way too much bulshit talking about the meaning of life and digging roads (youll see what I mean). And way too little skiing. No sign of any female skiers either (my wife points out).

My advice would be to avoid and by earlier movies.

Sorry Sad

i didnt think it was bad, but i didn't really sit down and watch it just to watch it. We had it playing at work with not a lot of volume. I've seen better, but there are some cool shots. its a little more on the side of an art film than it is on the side of a ski film. that part was cool.

It's a different kind of ski movie.

Actually, it's not so much a ski movie as a movie about skiers. There's lots of voiceover talking about how they live the ski life: work hard in the summer, play hard in the winter. There's talk of the comraderie between friends, the experience of trips.

That's not to say there's not some kick-ass skiing, but this is not your teenager's ski-movie. Smile

I like it for what it is. There are times that I want to throw in Warren Miller, times I want to see a TGP flick, and other times I want to see a movie like Lost Season.

It's a good addition to the ski pron library

I was a bit disappointed... Overall it was a good movie with some great quality ski shots, but it did not get me pumped to go out skiing like the older movies. It was more like a touchie-feelie Oprah session for skiers. It was good, but I am excited to get the new Tough-Guy video to get pumped up... Surprised

I think what people missed is Bones never intended it to be a music video with skiing.

If you're looking for that, pick up a Warren Miller movie.

Anyhow, the skiing footage was amazing and it was fun to hear that people still actually go out there looking to do it all for the skiing. How many people do you personally know get to get in over 100 days in the best places to ski on earth? Very Happy

Seeing the premier was great, free hat and all. Laughing

yeah "The Lost Season" isn't the same as Bones' other movies, but given that all of his sponsors for the movie pulled their funding (?) for him, I think he made a really great film about what it takes to make "living the life" a reality. The extra "directors commentary" is kind of fun to listen to and watch too.

Thanks again Josh for the great films you've made....

You guys have got to be kidding. Are you all so easily pleased. Just what exactly did we learn about telemarking, skiing, life in general.

An art movie? Are you taking the piss????

What it takes to live the life? What earn money go skiing??? I suppose the rest of us working all hours god sends, chasing snow all over the place and skiing at every opportunity arent living the life???

Amazing skiing footage...granted one or two great shots, but have you guys seen sinners???

Music video? what are bones other movies if they are not music videos as you call them??

A different kind skiing movie??? very true very little actual skiing!!!!

Did any of you see the pre-release trailer. Marketing the video by emphasising the skiing.

In fact just download the trailer that will save you buying the rest of the...what it is like to be a ski bum blah! blah! blah! Arn't we all in awe!!!!!!!!!
