Having difficulty at posting pics to the Dog Thread or one of your TR's...
Well, being bored and all, plus it's too early to start popping them beer cans open I desided to write this gibberish.
So,on with the tutorial... First of all the pics must be digital (sorry no worky with slides or paper-pics ) and on your computer.
PART 1.
SO STEP 1.
Go to the Coverpage and click on the Tele Photos (circled in RED):
STEP 2. (if you already have an account at Tele Photos, skip this step)
You'll need an account on the Tele Photos, so click on the Register-text (circled in RED):
And fill in all the info to create your account. Then log onto your email account and click on the link @ the activation-email (from TeleTips). Finally log on to your account.
STEP 3.
Now click on the Upload photos -text (circled in RED):
STEP 4.
Now fill in the information for the pic (and use browse-button to select the pic from your computer). When everything is there, click on the Upload/Submit -button neat the bottom of the page. All important stuff is circled in RED:
STEP 5.
Wait until the picture is uploaded...
STEP 6.
When the pic has been uploaded, you'll get this kind of screen:
You can edit a bit of the photo, by clicking Edit... But let's not get into that.
STEP 7.
Now click on the picture, to get the larger version (more suitable for the forums). (ie. click on the circled red area from the pic of STEP6.)
STEP 8.
To get the real URL of the picture, you can see the highlighted part circled in red on the pic. You need to highlight and copy it as well (don't worry, if you select some extra stuff as well, just be sure that you have everything from http:// onwards and at least .jpg in the end).
STEP 9.
Now back at the forum, paste the image address on the forum at the place where you want the picture to appear...
Hey, presto... Now the pic should work and you can start posting those wonderful Trip Reports....
Posting many pics at the same time and using Tele Photos seems to be a drag, well I'll post PART TWO (and possibly PART TREE) when I have the time/energy/etc.
It is also possible to create sub-galleries under your username, making it easier to organize your pics.
Oh, and a new added function of the gallery, is to possibility to delete photos you've uploaded. 1st you select the pic you want to remove (or replace). Then you click on the little text "EDIT" under the photo, now you can rotate, replace or even remove the pic.

Can you help with the instructions for my new lawn furniture?
Very nice work...reminds me of all the QA processing we have to do with system upgrades.

Hey thanks!
I've been wanting to post pic's of my dogs forever, but it seemed like too much work! Mtn_Chick sent me some instructions but I lost them (actually...accidentally deleted them ).
Now that I have some instructions, I'll give it a shot!

Toshiba could sure use guys like you.
I effin hate computers... Especially ones using products from the Death Star (nothing personal... Just have had so many bad incidents... and being broke ain't helping, so I have to use the older products #¤%&¤#¤&@).
As soon as I get away from this swamp, I'll install a nice Unix-based system on my crappy laptop... And no more worries
And the next computer I'm gonna buy will definetly be a MAC
Oh, it's raining outside and I'm bored as well as pissed off at the world _________________ Mr. A. Mesh, the celebrated skier

Hmmm... the things we find out online!!! Well, a mesh's instructions are much more detailed anyways...
Hey a mesh - I suggest you do get that Mac and provide online tutorials!

Yep, the [img] tags do work, problem being that peeps don't know that you have to host the pic on a server...
And I used Tele Photos, since it's provided by TelemarkTips, just like this forum... Gonna do a tutorial for Biglines and Photobucket, when I have the time or what ever _________________ Mr. A. Mesh, the celebrated skier

Oh OK... It just seems so simple to me, I guess some people still are in the dark about how to do it it.
Neat tutorial, but it seems really complicated for the un-initaited.... _________________ -Otto

I could have done it better in finnish, but I'm presuming that there would be less peeps to be able to use it then. _________________ Mr. A. Mesh, the celebrated skier
