The Terminator becomes the Conservator
Quote:
June 19, 2006 - He's put the Hummers in storage. He's told friends he was deeply impressed by Al Gore's new global-warming movie, "An Inconvenient Truth."
...
"You have to have a vision of a clean California," he said. "And then go out and build it."

When the Reds and Blues compete for the title of "Green" - the Greens have won.

I think it's early to say the greens have won, or even that this is anything more than lip service. It's easy for Arnold to say he is going green when:

Quote:
...87 percent of voters say that environmental issues matter in choosing a candidate...

We'll see if it lasts if and after he is re-elected.

I'm red/green color 'impaired'... should I be concerned with this new development?

D.With, when did you get so chummy with George Soros? Is he not as much the "enemy" as the other Carlyle Group billionaires? How much should I contribute to Mr. Soros to send a letter that I can do for free on my own? Rolling Eyes

So send a letter. I did, and it didn't cost me anything.

You should protest immediately. This is a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Oh wait - they're the same thing now. So this just eliminates confusion. Never mind.

That you're chummy with someone you'd call soreass and has his connections says all I need to say.

Not following you. Haven't met him. Don't know him. I hear he has money and connections. I hear he put some effort into advancing democracy in Eastern Europe. What's your point?

The point: that I act as I see fit on causes that I feel are worth acting on.

I won't handicap myself by refusing to ever cooperate with a group or person whose actions are generally wrongheaded - such as George W. Bush - and I don't think it's health for our democracy for people to determine their views merely by rejecting all views of those whom they find distasteful.

I take it you advocate a blind politics of personality and party?
