I'll see if I can dig up my old Voile Rasta t-shirt with the caption "If it comes smoking by you...it's from Voile" Cool

I'm new to the ttips forum, but have been a casual observer for many years. It would be nice to meet up with other Portland freeheelers. What if we plan a gathering sometime in December and do an informal viewing of Sessions and Powderwhores, we could even try to get some local gear shops involved (they need all the help they can get after the season at Hood last year). I know someone at OMC and used to work at the Pearl REI so let's see what the Portland TTipsters can pull together, who's up?! Or we can just get together like you six did last night and monopolize a widescreen TV in the bar for an hour or so over some microbrews.

I just bought some T4's for $285 at OMC last week so I'm ready to make some turns.

Has anyone done the Tele Tuesday's up at Ski Bowl in years past? A backcountry trip to the Wallowa's could be in the making as well.

Cheers,
Pav

It was fun meeting some more of the PDX tele crew. I was up at MHM today got several runs in over at shooting star then had to book to catch a flight south.
Mav I looked for you but it was so crowded. Saw several tele skiers.

Gotta catch the flight..

And today was pretty good. 9"s fell overnight, I got one of the first chairs up Hood Express and I spent most of the day at Shooting Star. Crowds weren't too bad over at SS. Lots of Telemarkers were out but no one introduced themselves claiming to be from TTips. There were also a good # of skiers with AT gear, and even a young lady with Dynafits Very Happy.

And No I didn't take any photos.

Today at Timberline. And NO lift lines. Wish I had some pics of the snow insanity, but we forgot the camera.

I was at Meadows yesterday and was reminded of why I hate that place. Was still great to be out though- my love of skiing trumps my distaste for Meadows! Apparently, I have no ethics!

Snow level up to 7000 feet tomorrow. Pray for no rain. Sad

Very nice Shred. I'm pretty sure I saw you guys skinning up Wink.

Anyone want to make an official 05-06 Observations from Mt Hood thread ala the Wastach classic? I can change the title of the other Mt Hood thread if we want and we can put all our porn there. Alternatively we could make this the thread.
