Being a teacher and all, I am going to celebrate the veterans by skiing. I want to go up to Crystal, but I can't find anyone willing to make the trip.

Any takers?

Also, my husband and I will probably be up at Paradise on Saturday and Sunday, if anyone would like to join us.

its Thursday...are we going to try this again or just wait until next week? If people pick a mutual location I'll be there (well, as long as it isn't too far a bike ride away). we could always go join the kayakers at morrison st grill.

post away!

also, time to hit the snow, check out the carpool forum about rides???

Hedge House sounds good. Never been there. But do they let people like us telewachers in, especially those who in moment's of weakness slide with split boarders and heaven's forbid, AT skiers?

I'm gonna say we will all me safe at Hedgehouse! well, that depends on what you are drinking!!! anyway, there were many "dirtbag climber" types there on tuesday (the busy day due to $2 pints) including one of the biggest, fluffiest malamute I've ever seen!

me, well, I'm a shorter guy with glasses and a beard and will likely have a dark and potent monster mash imerial porter in hand! maybe by the end of the day I will think of something creative and distinctive to wear.

time, basically anything after 6:30 should give me plenty of time to ride home from work and walk over to the bar.

There is always the grand ttips tradition of using duct tape name tags. I believe this was started by Tri-U but the exact origins are mysterious.

I won't get there to 7:30 pm or so. Brown shoulder length hair, black kinda hip glasses and a black leather coat.

I heard about the big screen that came out for the steelers game. I'm very glad stuff like that happens as it keeps the mountains just a little less crowded on sundays!

so in order to appeal to our sense of financial restraint (or at least my desire to save $$$ for gas and new toys), I am going to make the suggestion that after this week there be an ongoing gathering on Tuesdays at Hedgehouse. I know that when conditions allow, many head up to ski bowl, but for those of us who won't be doing that or for times when ample snow does not grace the runs of ski bowl, we now have a place to gather for good food and beer. Who knows, maybe we will even allow GJ to bring out his big 'ole Pooh bear hug.
