Good lord.

There's no food fight like a wholly holy food fight.

Shocked Rolling Eyes Very Happy

Quote:
A civil war is breaking out among evangelical leaders over allegations of a rigged election and ballot stuffing at a Saturday gathering of religious and social conservatives....

...in back-and-forth emails, Protestant fundamentalist leaders who attended – most of them backing former House Speaker Newt Gingrich to be the anti-Romney candidate — are accusing Catholic participants of conniving to rig the vote.

They said they were conned into leaving after the second ballot on Saturday. They said pro-Santorum participants held a third ballot which Mr. Santorum won with more than 70 percent of the vote — far higher than the nine-vote margin he won on the first ballot.

“My view is that the vote was manipulated,” said a prominent social conservative who asked not to be named.....

A lame Bain from a simple explain: "Dats Capitalism" may cause the issue to limp off the political stage.

But.

Good lord I can't imagine Mitt getting the nom nod w/o a major assault from leading evies along the lines of:

ST PETERSBURG, FL -- Bill Keller, the world's leading Internet Evangelist and the founder of LivePrayer.com, with over 2.4 million subscribers worldwide reading the daily devotional he has written every morning for 12 years on the issues of the day from a Biblical worldview, says it is necessary today with the vast majority of the last two generations having never been to church, and with most of those who do being Biblically illiterate, to educate people on what Mitt Romney and Mormons really believe about African-Americans, God, Jesus, the Bible, and Biblical Christians.
....
....

Keller went on,

"Romney and Mormons will quote from the Bible to further their deception of being a Christian, but don't believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God as Christians.

Instead, they view the Bible as a flawed and incomplete book, using the writings of Mormon founder Joseph Smith, the Book of Mormon, the Pearl of Great Price, the Doctrines and Covenants, as their theological authority.

Romney and Mormons also view Biblical Christians as inferior to those in their 'church.'

Romney also believes in Smith's 'White Horse Prophecy' that states the nation will be in chaos, a Mormon will become President, and under the guise of saving the union set aside the US Constitution and enact a Mormon theocracy.

These fantastical beliefs are why Romney and Mormons are no more a Christian than a Muslim is!"

Keller concluded,

"Mitt Romney is a 'temple Mormon,' meaning he has gone through the secretive temple rituals, including taking a blood oath to his 'church' above everything else, and wears the temple garments (magical underwear) with satanic markings that he believes protects him.

Listen, if people want to vote for a man who believes he will die and become the god of his own planet, have an endless supply of women to have sex with and create spirit babies, that is fine.

All I have ever asked Romney or anyone in his cult like Glenn Beck to do is be honest about what they really believe and to quit lying to people!"

uffda.

South Carolina Evangelical 'Leaders' Slam Romney's 'Homophilia'

The Rev. Huey Mills, pastor of Fellowship Bible Church in Lancaster, SC, has released a statement backing Rick Santorum and urging fellow evangelical Christians to oppose the nomination of Mitt Romney. In an emailed press release, Mills said:

"In obedience to the Judeo-Christian Scriptures, most South Carolinans and I have a sane and healthy homophobia,

while Mitt Romney has a very bad case of homophilia;

the man very clearly endorses dangerous, unhealthy homosexual conduct.

Romney actually proclaimed gay youth pride days as governor of Massachusetts."

""The Word of Almighty God, from the Books of Moses to those of the Apostle Paul, commands faithful Jews and Christians to be homophobic. Carolinans have a God-fearing homophobia,

while Mitt Romney wrongly endorses homosexuality as a good choice for our young people.

Mitt Romney proved during the recent Meet the Press debate that he's just as liberal on the gay agenda as he always has been. In 1994, he said 'I think the gay community needs more support from the Republican Party,' while at January 8 debate, Romney proudly announced, 'a member of my cabinet was gay. I appointed people to the bench regardless of their sexual orientation.'

When asked when he last stood up and spoke out for increasing gay rights, Romney said 'Right now.'

That Yankee is hopelessly left-wing on homosexuality."

I'd like to see his original long-form birth certificate, preferably signed by King Herod.

History records his actions to be a bit detrimental towards those born in that town around that period.

Is that how you're able to condone throwing them the keys to Congress? A little forgetfulness?

Do you think I'm denying historicity? I was just making a joke about long-form birth certificates. Which are no doubt mentioned in the part of the constitution that says "religion" means christianity.
