More of an opinon than a mis-quote, but classic Obama, nonethless. I'm sure you heard it, but just to get it documented in this thread...."the private sector is doing fine" _________________ "Take it from a member of the male species, walking around in public with an erection is somewhat of an embarrassment unless you are a bit..... off"........Bunion |

Is that his line, or was he quoting McCain?
Much like here in the WayOT, misquotes and out of context quotes are being spread.
Unlike in here in the WayOT, it's happening from both sides. _________________ You give us what we want in a week, or we beat the hell out of you and take it anyway.

That wasn't a mis-quote. It wasn't taken out of context. It's simply what he said. It won't have much bearing on who I vote for - but it is what he said. You're such a fucking moron. |

"Europe is not our largest trading partner. Canada is. Followed by China. Followed by Mexico. Followed by Japan. "Europe" only counts as America's largest trading partner in an aggregate sense"
I mean seriously how does the term Europe not mean Europe as a whole in an aggregate sense?
I have no miss conception that the WSJ or most any other media outlet is fair and balanced but this one is pretty pathetic. |
their editorial bias is to the right, everbody know this. there straight up reporting is right down the middle

since the takeover more of their reporting has taken the lazy churnalist approach, imo. Still some good investigative stories, just lots more dreck. |

Yeah. It's exactly what he said. And it's true regardless of context. |

Now we just need Laura to chime in with proof of Palin's trans-Atlantic trade agreement expertise. |
You do know Sarah can see Europe from her back yard.
| Quote: | Dunn is currently at work on two new books — one about the history of surfing and another about Babe Ruth and American culture — and says he’s ready to begin writing again about the “disturbing forces at work” in this year’s Republican primaries. He also says that he is currently in negotiations about bringing out an e-book on Palin containing several of his articles, essays and interviews entitled Sarah Palin and the Pornography of American Politics.
Nieto: So Dr. Dunn, when we last visited, your book was just about to be released. Want to share how that has gone since the book was published?
Dunn: That’s a pretty long story. Let me cut to the chase. I knew that a certain swath of the American public was going to embrace my book with open arms, that they would view me as a journalistic hero of sorts for revealing that the empress–Ms. Palin–had no clothes. And, of course, they did. One reviewer compared it to William Shirer’s “The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich” and Theodore White’s “The Making of the President, 1960.”
But I also knew that another swath–the idiots at Fox News and Co.–were going to go after me and view me as the anti-Christ. And, of course, they did that too. Glen Beck did a seven-minute riff on me, which, was cool, because I view him as a vulgar pig of a man–a racist, homophobic demagogue who threatens the core of American democracy.
Nieto: Why don’t you say what you really feel…
Dunn: [Laughter] At best, he’s a snake-oil salesman; at worst, he should be tried for treason for what he’s done to the democratic process in this country. I mean, when you get driven off of Fox News, that’s saying something…
