It's not. However with any federal election, you have to choose which to prioritize. Do you vote for an ounce of fiscal improvement that comes with 10 pounds of "social" "conservatism" and fiscal policies that are basically activist? Or do you compromise the fiscal conservatism very slightly? Not to mention that the avowed GOP tax policy completely negates their fiscal conservatism.

In terms of state elections-- sure, vote for whomever. Loonies on both sides need a kick occasionally.

Can't think of a better way to convince people they're not voting for the evangelical agenda... even if they probably are. Pack the federal courts with judges as openminded as Sugarloafer.

I'd still love to hear what this "liberal agenda" is. Terrible things like getting people private health insurance? And gays. Something about the gays.

Has it ever occurred to you that I am more then pleased that someone with your internet personality feels the way you claim about me.

If for some temporarily convenient reason (like acting like an idiot) you want to step outside this character you have created here and ask a serious question feel free but there has to be a question and not the sarcastic rant you started this thread with.

It is not all about you and how you think. I am free to engage in any type of conversation I want and I would best for most people here most threads are not about who you will vote for.

This whole thread is about a republican with some liberal view points and how the liberals can't get there mind around that concept. Both Loafer and I have stated we agree with some of these view points.

Just about everyone here, yes. What I don't get with you is why you espouse practicality but seem determined to not boil things down to the actual choice that you have to make. What purpose does it serve spending so much time hair-rending about what an imperfect choice it is? Just lay it out and choose. Most of the "but both sides do it" shit is just an excuse invoked to avoid choosing. You see people being "partisan." I see people like you trying really hard only to criticize both sides but never admit to actually judging one better than the other, which is nuts, because they're so copulating different these days.

Of course! Why would anyone here question Sugarloafer's bonafides as a true centrist?

As for the gay GOP dude-- are you saying people should choose the person to vote for an not consider who they'll caucus with? That would be pretty naive. It's like deliberately choosing not to use all the information available. You know SL's primary interest in this dude is that he's GOP.
