I thought this was one of the best Drinkos ever. But my memory of past ones is pretty fuzzy... Anyway, thanks Jay and Ingrid! Skiing was actually great, though we didn't ski at Abasin. Great to just hang and catch up with everyone. Good times!

We hit that line two times today. Perfect creamy corn--really really great!

Drinko was fun even without skiing A-Basin. Thanks to Tainted Meat and Tele-ing for putting it on year after year!

Thanks everyone for coming out and contributing to another successful Drinko! It was definitely a different year, especially with the creek flowing next to the beach. Creek? Shocked Confused Who knew that thing was there? It was also different because I remained in a vertical position the entire day, nor did I put on skis. That doesn't happen at many Drinkos. We still went through a bunch of buffalo burgers, Fat Tire, shotskis, etc.

It was definitely good to see all the old faces. It was nice meet new folks like Kara, despite the fact that she contaminated the bison grill with yardbird and vegetables. Rolling Eyes Wink Wink

Of course I realized the night before when we arrived in Silverthorne that I forgot my camera. So, I only have one really good pic to share. It has some of my favorite things in it: Danno, Lillian, Powderhoar, and a Virginia Tech tent that the neighbors put up (made new friends in beach spot #8 too!)

If anyone has pics, please post them up.

Fun times!!!

Thanks Jay and Ing (and Joe and taryne and Tana and whoever else helped pull this off)!

Lots of fun! Never seen the Beach like that, though! Laughing

Maybe next year, Lillian will be rocking the Molly Hogan.

The lack of snow makes it look like Cinco de Agosto!

Looks like a good time was still had, but there sure are a lot of jeans in those pics.

Was there and actually skied a few runs. Made the mistake of bringing my bike, got sidetracked and never made it to #09 after. Looks like a good time was had by all.
