I was lucky enough to see Levon a few times, most recently just a few summers ago when he was sure to invite the entire audience back to his place for a Midnight Ramble. He darn near gave directions on how to get there!

I went to Levon's wake at his studio this morning. 2,100 people showed up. Very moving.

Always loved Levon's voice and drums, seemed a good counterpoint to Robertson's ego.
Liked "Cripple Creek" so much I serenaded my roomate and his girlfriend with it in my sleep in our 1 room apartment while they were having a bit of the "excitement"!! Laughing

I can't take the way he sings, but I love to hear him talk.
