As for your sophmoric editorializing about a Supreme Court decision that hasn't been handed down yet: If the Supreme Court feels the law is unconstitutional - it's unconstitutional. It is the "court of last resort" on such issues. You can join the whiners who always cry foul when the Supreme Court doesn't go their way but....to what end? And I don't know why you guys on the Left get so hung up on the fact that the individual mandate arose from conservative circles and a conservative majority on the Supreme Court might find that provision unconstitutional. Why is that somehow hypocritical, disingenuous or even...... ironic? Where is it written that conservative solutions and policy positions must align with conservative jurisprudence? What I find fun is how everyone on the Left scoffed when some on the right suggested that the individual mandate might be unconstitutional. Last week they were properly chastened to learn that - surprise! - there might actually be a significant constitutional issue involved. Who knew?
FWIW - I don't think it's a foregone conclusion that the Court is going to strike this thing down. Kennedy's questions seemed to show a certain sympathy/understanding for both sides of the issue and Roberts may well vote with Kennedy. I predict the law is upheld 6-3.

But there's no mention of those "serious constitutional issues" in there. In fact, it scoffs at the notion. So I'm still waiting to hear what those are. No doubt we can wait for a long and detailed explication from willy's guy Clarence Thomas. But in the meantime willy indicates he already knows what those serious issues are, and the experts who noted them from the inception. Maybe the 10th Amendment like he suggested earlier?

-Cut taxes for the wealthiest of americans because the more money they have the more will trickle down
-Cut taxes and offer more tax loopholes for the booming oil and gas industries.
