Looked like very stylish monomarking to me!

I sometimes ski like this:

Sometimes like this:

I am surprised that the Ron thing persists- I thought it was fixed.

Hey Ray! So goofing is fun and then sled hauling is work...

Yes to both! And, BTW, thanks for hauling sled!

Nice video. Great look at a falling leaf. Did you have a tail rope?

What started as some
light humor seems to have
derailed into an
abyss of anger..
apologies for my
part..
No real harm intended.
Very Happy

1:30 on that second vid is gold. Just glad it wasn't me in the sled when I broke my femur. Very Happy

My first offering. Not happy with this form but in my defense I was leaning in to hopefully white-wash the photographer.

Next up: Testing the snow on Cody Peak near Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. (Thank you Eric for this photo)

Now the good stuff: Eating some snow for Lunch that day, Grand Teton National Park.

Solitude Resort Utah: dipping deep to maximize the dust on Crust, (Thank you George for the photo)

Targhee 2011 Tele Big Mountain Comp. Somewhere in my run.

http://vimeo.com/19866485
The second skier in the clip. All of two and a half turns of my fame.

Just some humble stuff, always having fun.

Great stuff there, Galen.

RE: that second pic, it's hard to figure stuff out, like which way is down? Like some Escher drawing it requires close examination and I'm still confused.

Otherwise, some great skiing and different techniques. Carry on.......please.

As to the second picture. Eric does stuff with a camera and a computer that I some times cannot comprehend either. In this case he is above me looking down the face towards me.

And the video is at Targhee 2011. I gave the Big Mtn. comp a try. It was fun and a really cool experience. I occasionally drop stuff but rarely in the full throttle manner of the competition so I don't really see myself ever being competitive.

Posing in front of some poor choices from the previous day of free skiing. We worked the cliffs at the left edge of the picture. I got my scare on and was pretty sore for the competition the next day.

Thanks, self-assigned moderator..
You just bothered me, and yet
I respond..
Go figure.. Laughing Laughing Laughing
If I don't get back to
you tomorrow, it's because
I'll be skiing and snapping pix..
And Perhaps you never read my apology,
wherein I poured my heart out to joneser,
begging forgiveness
for pointing out his rampant DPPS, which
helped fuel a bit of a trainwreck...Seriously,
no malice aforethought. And I hope to
get my own vid up soon, though it
takes some convincing, as most of my
ski friends just want to ski.
Very Happy Laughing Laughing
