My wife teaches creative "dance" to 4, 5, and 6 year olds.
She once sub'd a class in an area with probably the most concentration of wealth in the the lower mainland, West Vancouver.
She said they were the most unruly, obnoxious group of children she'd ever worked with in 30yrs of teaching that age group.
If you drove a taxi in this city you'd know that young white males from wealthy suburbs (you'd never go to West Van or UBC from d/t without getting the $ up front) are the most prolific cab 'n dashers.
It is also my observation that the drivers of late model luxury vehicles are far and away the most likely to not yield the right-of-way, as they are required by law, to transit vehicles leaving the curb.
There are ethnic and cultural precepts that come into play with that in this particular city, but are beyond the scope of this discussion.
IMO, the wealthy suck. The wealthier you are, the more you suck.

TP: I think you can run into the behavior you describe in any socio-economic class. While I wouldn't deny for a second, one's level of arrogance and lack of empathy quite often rises with income, that's by no means a given. I've known plenty of "wealthy" people over the years who are great folks of strong ethical behavior.

The thing is that right wing frothers, as long as they're not bible thumpers or skinheads can actually be funny in a coarse and dark sort of way. Left wing frothers are all to often completely humorless.

I may be reading that wrong, but it also looks like they're using the middle of each category for the lower 5 categories, and the minimum for the 6th(highest income). |

Looks like it, if the top bracket is more or less open ended, its hard to calculate a median value and any higher value makes the %age smaller. |

You mean telling them that they're arrogant, xenophobic, misogynistic clowns? I didn't do that until they'd paid. 
You're joking, right? The devil spawn of wealthy white people don't talk to cab drivers.
Fact is most peeps are head down in the thrall of their "devices" during a cab ride.
I did have an interesting conversation with the Finnish national broadcasting TV crew when I drove them to the airfield after the Olympics.
Seems their "right wing" gub'ment's slashing their funding a-la how successive governments have starved our own CBC.
There, as in Canada the wealthy dream of a private monopoly on broadcasting so to better massage the news to their benefit.
