Don't let the two near each other. If you do, keep a close eye on them. There is a very powerful gravitational force between them that will not be denied. 1 1/2 lbs. of raw, thick cut, apple smoked, pepper encrusted bacon and an American Fox Hound/Short Hair mutt collided on my kitchen counter today. Every copulating piece, gone, in seconds.

Only thing my dog ever snarffed was about 1.5 slab of grilled salmon. Left not a trace.

A friend told me a story about about an English Setter wolfing down a good sized marinated Elk loin while camping. One gulp like a seal taking a fish. A few minutes later.......yep, up it came. They washed it off and threw it on the grill. Yummmmy!

A good friend was getting married on the east coast, so we had a big camping party for him in Colorado. One of the dogs there got into a car and ate an entire tray of cupcakes. Bad dog!

A couple years ago my golden retriever devoured completely a dozen chocolate cupcakes that were left on the counter. I'm sure he regretted that later.

Our puppy ate a barbie doll. My littlest's best friend had lent it to her because we won't buy her one. In any case, Daisy then took a nasty poop - it took a loooonnnngggg time for her to anally birth barbie - and there was this nice little hand waving at me when I went to pick up the poo. It was like a shot from a David Lynch film, frankly. Or the opening scene of Jaws.

The head and torso passed as well and caused some real distress. We never found the legs.

So: just as with bacon, keep dogs and barbies away from each other.

And here I thought this was going to be a thread about hot dogs wrapped in bacon and then grilled. Idea
