Nice views. I see this peak often from different angles and in different seasons. Funny 15 years here and I've never skied it (and I think I missed the toyota free friday, yet again).

One day I'll cruise up there - definitely some outstanding views and apparently you can even see Moscow Mtn... . I wanna catch it on a high visibility day - means you could see the Wallawas with binos !

Manana - determined to exercise the pass at Jackass (aka Silver)

ha..next time i make it up there , i'll take some binoculars.. the wallowas or 7 devils might be stretching it , but the blue mountains, maybe... u can fill up the rig @ some shell stations and get a free thursday pass..in any case , with a lookout or silver season pass it will only set u back 29 bux to ski mid-week -- thusdays and fridays are best to avoid crowds...if u want some cardio, skin up any tuesday or monday..also u can skin up the south side outtabounds any time u like ..btw, lookout got 15in powder, so it should be great there in the trees

I've been wasting my season at 49N; it's been pretty shitty since the first of the year. Looks like I need to expand my range.

Mt. Spokane is a neat little hill; a zoo on the weekends.

yea....if u go on w/e just stay on the south side ; it's usually never bad compared to the rest on a saturday or sunday ..about mid-jan things took a dive snow-wise in the inland.. we escaped a lot of it by going to lookout! ...they want to open up a few runs on the west side of mnt spokane, where the original lodge was..it would be great for the place overall, i think.. but it's a real mess navigating all the concerns of various groups -- hikers, snowmobilers, berry pickers, bikers , and people who just oppose to oppose any impacts at all .. and apparently there is a den of wolves up there now, just to make it more complicated...

Mmmm, Priest Lake. Part of my heart still resides there. Thanks for mentioning it, if not posting a picture with a vague reference to it.

Cheers.

oo..it's been spotted, tho happily development is very well managed on that lake...
btw, they have some nice nordic trails and
some run right by "hill's resort"...
the waters there are still quite pristine..
great swimmin and campin in summer..
wandering a tad but here's a shot of the lake
taken from kalispell island...the right on
the mnts can be accessed from the back side of schweitzer..

pretty good day at Silver today! Sorry no pix, too busy hurrying along the traverse and picking off all the suspects.

Priest Lake is definitely, definitively, and defiantly one of Idaho's Gems.
